I’m looking forward to a photo-workshop in Salzburg (AUT). I can’t afford the fees of 1000€ for this workshop so I’ll try to get in with an scholarship. therefore I need to make a project and at the moment I’m seeking locations and topics.
Met a couple of friends to play billiard just on valentine’s day.

setup:
iso 800 (normally I shoot max 200ISO)
1/20s (no problem to shoot 1/20 right out of the hand)
f4 (max aperture)
raw mode (brings I would say 30% more quality and reduces 50% noise combined with the sigma pro photo software)
manual focus, always at 2m
surprisingly the sigma is not that bad at night, after a little modification it works really nice. I took the pictures in b/w mode to reduce the color-noise.
Printed pictures are so much better than what is shown on most of the screens. If there is some money left at the end of the month I do me a favor and get one of these magazines or go to a exhibition to support the artists.
good photo-mags are really hard to find- and when you find some than they are pretty much expensive. Besides the web-media I also like to read some printed magazines like the awesome LFI or photonews. Both are in outstanding quality and have less “hardware-talk” than others.

The winter came back and here in graz the temperatures fell down to -12°C brrrr.
Oh boy that’s to cold for any other cam than my trusted STORM.
My mobile-phone works even at that temperatures pretty good and so the shooting goes on

Days before the big cold came back to the land the days were pretty much warm and sunny and it almost looked like the spring is coming too early this year.
